Meatopia on Governors Island

Pin It now! hubby and a bunch of our friends went back to governors island today for the first annual meatopia and let me tell you, there was a lot of meat!  there were really long lines for the popular restaurants too so we didn't get to all the places we wanted to.  i really want the duck tacos from sue torres' suenos restaurant...next time.  we did get...free tacos from chipotle, beer from sixpoints, steak sandwiches from porter house (michael lomonaco was actually serving), whole roasted lamb from boqueria, and a couple of other places i can't remember.  there was also a bison steak demo by top chef alum andrew d’ambrosi (exec chef at norwood club head).  here was the delicious menu.  next year i hope it isn't as hot!
